Did you miss my Open Studio in October? You can still make it in November!
I'm on the New Hampshire Open Doors statewide tour on Saturday and Sunday, Nov.5 & 6, and my studio will be open to you from 10-5.
What's so special about my studio?
Well, it's where I write, make jewelry, sew my art collage quilts, make my little animal artifacts, photograph my work, and teach classes.
I have a rabbit in here who's always begging for Cheerios.
The walls are filled floor to ceiling with colorful and exotic fabrics, books, beads, buttons and tools.
And my damaged doll collection, my globe collection, my bone and antler collection.
Oh, and my antique handmade squirrel cage.
But mere words cannot convey the marvels you will find here. A visitor recently described my studio as "...a giant I SPY book" and by Jove, I think she's got it! To get a peek of the wonders that await you, visit my Open Studio photo album on Facebook.
I'll be demonstrating almost all day, when I'm not yakking and sipping wine with my visitors.
Information on NH Open Doors: http://www.nhopendoors.com/. You'll find me in the Monadnock Region under Crafts: Quilts and fiber art. (I'm number 4! I have no idea what that means, but 4 is good, right?) You'll find information on all the other visit-worthy sites on the tour, along with directions and printable maps are.
I hope you can come. Bring a friend! Heck, bring your Christmas list and get a jump on your holiday shopping.
